About the position

The Optical Retail Sales Associate at Eyemart Express is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment focused on eyewear. This role involves guiding patients in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses, ensuring accurate measurements, and overseeing the production process to deliver quality eyewear promptly. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service using optical expertise and product knowledge.
• Stay informed about sales, promotions, and company policies.
• Process payments and refunds using the Point of Sale system.
• Educate patients on eyeglass care and maintenance.
• Process insurance claims accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
• Create and manage patient files with confidentiality.
• Interpret prescription requirements and take necessary measurements.
• Prepare work orders and inspect final products for accuracy.
• Adjust and repair frames as needed.
• Price, stock, and organize merchandise.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Optical industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
