The Oracle/Azure SOA Integration Consultant will play a crucial role in migrating the enterprise integration platform from Oracle SOA Suite to a Microsoft Azure Cloud solution. This position requires strong expertise in application integration technologies and the ability to develop new integration solutions in a cloud environment. The consultant will work closely with technical teams to analyze existing architectures and formulate solutions for incremental migrations.

  • Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
  • Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities.
  • Develops technical applications to support users.
  • Develops, implements, maintains and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
  • Provides training for system products and procedures.
  • Performs application upgrades.
  • Performs monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real-time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
  • Troubleshoots problems.
  • Ensures project life cycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.
  • Expertise in Software Engineering and Application Integration (15 Years)
  • Experience working with Web Services / Messaging XML, REST, API development, ITIL processes and SOA Governance (10 Years)
  • Experience with cloud integration platforms like Oracle, Microsoft Azure and other cloud-based solutions (5 Years)
  • Expertise programming with languages such as Java, .NET, Python (12 Years)
  • Experience working with enterprise connectors and developing custom connectors (5 Years)
  • Experience with migration of APIs from traditional applications to cloud platforms (3 Years)
  • Experience with Unix, Red Hat Linux, Shells (7 Years)
  • Experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12C (2 Years)
  • Use of SDLC methodologies Agile and Waterfall (12 Years)
  • 16+ years planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities
  • 16+ years leading projects, ensuring they are in compliance with established standards/procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with development and concepts of Micro Services (2 Years)
  • Education or certification in Microsoft Azure platform architecture and development tools (2 Years)
