About the position

As an Oracle Cloud Consultant - Lead AP/AR at IBM, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing comprehensive software solutions for accounts payable and receivable processes. This position involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing finance solutions using Oracle Fusion Cloud, and ensuring seamless integration of various systems. You will leverage your technical expertise and consultative skills to drive impactful changes for clients across multiple industries, contributing to their hybrid cloud and AI journey.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive software solutions to connect a variety of internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional and technical designs.
  • Develop finance solutions for Financials Record to Report, Order to Cash, Capital and Accounts Payable using Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Manage and deploy configuration to various environments (development, testing, production).
  • Create and execute thorough test plans to verify functionality based on user scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot issues, debugging, and optimizing performance.
  • Maintain clear functional and technical documentation for processes, integration, dependencies, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their requirement needs and challenges, driving solution development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Account Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Experience in designing comprehensive software solutions for financial processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate needs into technical designs.
  • Experience in developing finance solutions using Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Proficient in managing and deploying configurations across various environments.
  • Skilled in creating and executing test plans based on user scenarios.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing performance of financial systems.
  • Ability to maintain clear documentation for processes and integrations.

Nice-to-haves

  • 10+ years of implementation experience in financial systems.
  • Experience implementing at least 2 end-to-end implementation life cycles with state, local, and educational agencies in the US using Oracle Fusion Cloud.
