You can swiftly perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. You enjoy maintaining database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain new databases.
  • Perform backup/recovery and configuration management.
  • Maintain database management systems (DBMS).
  • Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation for problem resolution.
  • Administer Oracle production databases running Oracle 19c or higher on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Configure Oracle databases to meet federal security guidelines.
  • Work with and debug Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Perform Oracle patching and upgrades.
  • Administer multi-site Oracle database implementations using Oracle Data Guard.
  • Provide guidance and support to application developers in the creation and deployment of DML or DDL scripts.
  • Install and configure Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Identify performance issues using OEM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of overall work experience.
  • Extensive experience administering Oracle production databases running Oracle 19c or higher on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
  • Experience configuring Oracle databases to meet federal security guidelines.
  • Significant experience working with and debugging Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Extensive experience with database backup/recovery tools and techniques, such as Oracle RMAN and Flashback.
  • Extensive experience administering multi-site Oracle database implementations using Oracle Data Guard.
  • In-depth, hands-on experience in installing and configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Top Secret Requirement.
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week.
