About The Position

The Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Analyst will provide application support for Oracle eBusiness Systems, specifically focusing on Finance and Oracle Projects modules. This role involves collaborating with business users to gather requirements, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery. The Analyst will work within a large support team and participate in change management activities, utilizing project management principles throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree with Accounting Major or 5 years of related industry experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working and supporting Oracle eBusiness Modules, preferably in Finance and/or Oracle Projects.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• 3+ years of programming experience in Oracle Apex is preferred.
• Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Able to review and understand programming logic constructs used in Workflow, Apex, BI Publisher Reports.
• Able to articulate application behavior in a language understood by the end user.

Responsibilities

• Provides application functional and limited technical support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules in Finance and Projects.
• Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents.
• Troubleshoots, identifies the underlying cause, and recommends workarounds and/or corrective actions.
• Uses diagnostics scripts, SQL, and other query writing tools to analyze data and extract data for ad hoc reporting.
• Provides data correction scripts to address defects due to inconsistent data states.
• Conducts conference room pilots and user acceptance testing on defect fixes and system improvements.
• Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements.
• Utilizes project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
• Acquires and utilizes business knowledge to develop and deliver business expertise solutions.
• Tracks deliverables and provides reporting to management as needed.
