Responsibilities

• Independently build data analysis around complex business problems from data available in the client owned or accessible systems.
• Understand the business ask/problem, assess the scope, quantity and quality of the available data.
• Prepare and build the Data pipeline, and load data into DWH and Data Mart for downstream consumption.
• Develop using Oracle DB and Python with extensive experience in PL/SQL and Python.
• Perform data analysis and data crunching on database with very good SQL skills.
• Utilize PL/SQL including Stored procedures, functions, views, materialized views, cursors and exception handling.
• Read SQL plans, perform performance tuning, partitioning and other techniques.
• Work with SQL expertise in Joins, Analytical functions and triggers.
• Handle Python data types like list, dictionaries.
• Use Python libraries like pandas, sys, os, logger, argument parser, oracle conn libraries.
• Manage string handling and email function using Python.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum based project executions.
• Knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo is a plus.
• Experience with Python for data crunching, connecting other RDBMS, and AWS services like S3.

Requirements

• Graduate/B Tech/MCA.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in Oracle Database with hands-on exposure.
• Good hands-on experience in PL/SQL including stored procedures, functions, views, materialized views, cursors and exception handling.
• Good knowledge of Window functions, analytical functions, CTE, Merge.
• Very good SQL expertise in Joins, Analytical functions.
• Experience in Python programming for ETL.
• Good communication and articulation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge/experience in Banking or Capital Markets.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo.
• Hands-on experience with Python libraries like pandas, snowpark.
• Good to have exposure to string handling and email function using Python.
