About the position

ClearChoice Charlotte University City is seeking a part-time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to place dental implants for patients desiring "All-on-X" solutions. This position operates as a 1099 independent contractor, requiring just one morning each week, with the possibility of more hours based on availability. Surgeries are typically scheduled from 7 AM until around 12 PM. This role offers the opportunity to transform patient lives while gaining invaluable training and experience, performing three or more arches each day. The compensation is excellent, based on production in a high-volume practice, with no overhead costs and no non-compete agreements. ClearChoice provides all necessary resources for performing surgeries, including a highly trained surgical team. The surgeon will collaborate closely with an expert Prosthodontist who will handle consultations, treatment plans, and restorative work. The management team will take care of all business operations, allowing the surgeon to focus solely on patient care and surgical procedures. The working environment is described as amazing, low-stress, and free from the burden of managing referrals. Each ClearChoice Center is owned and operated by licensed dental experts, offering comprehensive dental implant treatment services in advanced, all-in-one facilities. These centers are equipped with modern technology, including advanced CBCT technology, IOS scanners, and a full-service, on-site lab, ensuring the highest standard of care for dental implant patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dental implant surgery including the extraction of teeth and alveolectomy as necessary.
  • Provide safe and effective anesthesia services, with a CRNA provided in some centers or as needed.
  • Work in close collaboration with Prosthodontist to help plan cases for optimal results.
  • Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines.

Requirements

  • Experience with the AO4 procedure.
  • Graduate of a U.S. accredited four-year dental school (DMD or DDS).
  • Completion of a post-graduate U.S. surgical program with a certificate to practice oral surgery.
  • Successfully passing a thorough background check.
