Order Picker

About the position

The Order Picker position at Texas Pipe and Supply involves performing various warehouse functions including receiving and processing stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping, and managing inventory. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times

Requirements

• One to two years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving
• Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed
• Experience with Reach truck, Forklift and Order Picker
• Experience with Carbon Flanges and Fittings a plus

Nice-to-haves

• Experience on Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-up Reach Truck or Picker preferred
