The Organ Transportation Logistical Assistant at Trinity Air Medical plays a vital role in supporting the organ donation and transplantation community. This entry-level position involves managing calls to the operations center, assisting logistics coordinators, and ensuring effective communication to facilitate the timely transportation of organs. The role requires a commitment to high service standards and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve in a 12-hour shift capacity to support operational needs.
• Assist with a variety of requests as assigned by supervisors.
• Keep thorough documentation and enter notes into the TAC system for all tasks handled.
• Assist Logistics Coordinators with tasks such as handling catering requests, sourcing transportation, and confirming flight status.
• Communicate effectively by phone, text message, and email to ensure requests are completed accurately.
• Ensure customer-specific procedures are followed.
• Demonstrate effective decision-making and collaboration in a high-stress team environment.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure high service and accuracy.
• Develop a basic understanding of OPO and transplant center terminology as well as aviation and ground terminology.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Attend departmental meetings regularly.
• Demonstrate company core values and positively represent the brand.

Requirements

• Entry-level position with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Proficient in computer software programs including Microsoft and data entry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in logistics or transportation coordination is a plus.
• Familiarity with organ procurement and transplantation terminology.
