About the position

As an Out of Home (OOH) Media Planner/Buyer, you will be responsible for strategizing and executing advertising campaigns in public spaces. This role requires strong skills in market research, negotiation, and budget management to maximize client exposure and return on investment (ROI).

Responsibilities

  • Develop OOH media plans that align with client goals and target audience demographics.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging OOH media formats.
  • Negotiate rates and secure the best media placements for campaigns.
  • Manage budgets and optimize spending to achieve maximum impact.
  • Work with media vendors to secure inventory and ensure timely implementation of campaigns.
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and stay informed about their offerings.
  • Oversee the implementation of OOH campaigns, ensuring proper placement and adherence to timelines.
  • Work within Asana to maintain orders and workflow.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize results.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure that campaigns are visually compelling and effective.
  • Manage relationships with the service team (internal client) and provide regular updates on campaign progress.
  • Maintain and organize media kits from various vendors, when applicable.
  • Maintain media flowcharts, budgets, and performance reports.
  • Coordinate media planning efforts and develop cross-channel media plans.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and media partners.
  • Determine the best use of multi-platform media mix.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as media planning software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of OOH media formats and trends to effectively plan and execute campaigns.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and advertising strategies to develop effective media plans.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in media planning and buying is a plus.
