About the position

Yellowstone Club's Outdoor Pursuits department is currently seeking candidates for a Billing / Payroll Coordinator. The purpose of the Billing & Payroll Manager is to manage the Billing Coordinator team and oversee the tracking, billing, and payment of services performed by OP staff and outside businesses. As well as assist in carrying out all aspects related to the billing and payroll functions required by the division. Support business growth, guest experience, and expense management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that each Member and guest receives outstanding service in a friendly environment.
  • Empowered to guarantee total Member satisfaction, always display hospitality and professionalism.
  • Understand and apply all property, safety, and security procedures.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Yellowstone Club team members.
  • Effectively manage a team of Billing/Payroll Coordinators.
  • Manage and oversee daily timeclock and payroll across multiple Outdoor Pursuits departments.
  • Responsible for meeting and certifying bi-weekly payroll deadlines.
  • Anticipate key account procedure changes and improvements.
  • Provide billing and payroll support.
  • Input daily activity information into the billing database.
  • Create and import daily member billing files.
  • Manage the allocation of applicable service fees.
  • Perform audits of financial spreadsheets and payroll data.
  • Manage corporate credit cards, invoices, and receipt coding.
  • Receive and track cash payments.
  • Provide valuable, strategic insight related to Billing/Payroll scope of operations during annual budget process.
  • File organization and management.
  • Manage seasonal on-boarding and off-boarding seasonal staff.
  • Follow established processes and procedures.
  • Perform all job duties with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with the VP and Directors.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience in billing/accounting/finance.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for the Outdoors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Work experience in the Outdoor and/or Ski Industries.
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of work experience in an Accounting, Finance or Administrative role.
