The Outside Sales/Account Executive position at HTS Engineering involves managing customer relationships and driving sales for HVAC equipment. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and requires a proactive approach to expanding business channels while collaborating with internal teams to ensure product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain relationships with existing and new customers
  • Conduct some cold calling
  • Spend 50% of time in front of customers, on the road
  • Process incoming bids and projects
  • Prepare quotes and present to customers
  • Follow up on quotes and open quote reports
  • Actively expand new channels of business
  • Work closely with inside sales and purchasing personnel to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
  • Report weekly on progress of potential sales

Requirements

  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Previous sales experience
  • Ability to become an OEM parts expert
  • HVAC experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of water source heat pumps and PTACs is an asset
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Team player capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Desire to contribute and succeed
