About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager at Prosource is responsible for actively seeking out and engaging customers and prospects to generate new sales opportunities. This role focuses on managing client relationships, generating leads, and maintaining the quality of technology products and services offered by the company. The position requires a strong sales acumen and the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Actively seek out and engage customers and prospects to close sales and achieve quotas.
• Manage clients, generate leads, and maintain the integrity and quality of technology products, solutions, and services.
• Use multi-channel prospecting techniques to generate leads and grow the sales pipeline.
• Achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas for new business and renewals.
• Utilize customer and prospect database to track sales activities and manage the pipeline.
• Evaluate customer business needs to develop and present tailored solutions.
• Market and sell comprehensive technology products and services while maintaining Prosource's TotalPro Guarantee.
• Maintain a customer-first mentality and develop positive business relationships.
• Attend trainings and events to maintain technical and professional knowledge.

Requirements

• Possess a college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proven history of successful quota attainment in sales.
• Ability to initiate contact with strangers and cope with interruptions.
• Skill to persuade others and maintain a results-driven approach.
• Good communication and listening skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Any additional education in business technology is an advantage.
