About the position

The Outside Sales Account Manager at Josh Sherrill Insurance Agency is responsible for identifying new target buyers and upselling to current customers to achieve sales goals. This role requires a service-oriented sales expert who can efficiently prospect, present, and close deals, leveraging communication and sales skills to drive revenue growth in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Exceed monthly and quarterly revenue expectations and meet sales and lead generating activities goals to ensure future business.
• Show our solution to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures.
• Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves.
• Convert 'no' into 'yes' by identifying and resolving potential obstacles such as budget, timelines, shareholders, competition, and other pain points.
• Leverage social prospecting and multiple communication channels to find, meet with, and follow-up with potential customers and deal opportunities.

Requirements

• Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills.
• A consistent top performer in sales.
• High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred.
• 2 years of outside sales experience or related marketing experience.
