About the position

The Outside Sales Manager for the Dairy/Bakery Group is responsible for managing customer accounts, developing new product opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and negotiation. This role requires regular in-person visits to customers and the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for multiple customer accounts.
  • Visit customers (in-person) on a biannual basis.
  • Negotiate contracts and annual supply programs.
  • Develop new product opportunities in multiple industries.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field.
  • 4-5 years' experience in sales roles.
  • Work experience as an Account Manager or Sales Account Manager.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present programs, and new project development status to customers.
  • Ability to develop marketing materials and presentations on a regular basis.
  • Experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
