About the position

The Outside Sales Manager at Red Fish Grill is responsible for driving revenue through relationship building and promoting private party services, venue buyouts, and large-scale corporate events. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, strong networking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Target VIP clients, corporate prospects, and venue buyouts.
  • Schedule outside sales calls and use direct marketing strategies.
  • Prepare proposals tailored for VIP clients and high-end events.
  • Lead efforts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Foster strong connections with VIP clients, ensuring personalized service.
  • Develop strategies to promote venue buyouts and large-scale events.
  • Network at industry events and entertain prospective clients on-site.
  • Communicate event details to internal teams for flawless execution.
  • Use Tripleseat software to manage proposals, contracts, and BEOs.
  • Ensure a luxury experience for VIP clients from start to finish.
  • Manage sales materials, including the group sales page and event kits.
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote exclusive events.

Requirements

  • College degree in the restaurant/hotel field or equivalent experience.
  • Two to four years experience in the catering/banquet field.
  • Two years in a supervisory capacity.
  • General knowledge of food and beverage procedures, controls, and administration.
  • Complete awareness and ability to perform all catering positions.
