About The Position

The Outside Sales Representative at Cellofoam North America Inc. is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and generating business with existing customers. This role emphasizes customer relationship management, upselling, and ensuring a positive customer experience while adhering to safety standards. The representative will operate as the primary contact for customers, deliver business results, and utilize the Sandler Selling Process to achieve sales goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of job-related experience.
  • High School/GED required; 4-year degree in Accounting or related discipline preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods.
  • Understanding of customer service principles and processes.
  • Proficiency in English language, including grammar and composition.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Mathematical skills including arithmetic, algebra, and statistics.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware and software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Sandler Selling Process.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities by converting pre-qualified leads.
  • Generate new business with existing customers using upselling tactics.
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for customers within the sales territory.
  • Deliver business results committed to both top and bottom-line growth.
  • Prepare proposals, quote prices, and promise delivery within established limits.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with current and potential customers.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the territory through cold calling and collaboration with the sales team.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs.
  • Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics, including quarterly sales and budget results.
  • Prepare and maintain strategic account plans and assist with high severity requests.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information.
  • Develop and maintain project and sales funnel.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports and summaries.
  • Investigate customer complaints and report back for resolution.
  • Provide support for marketing and communication programs.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere with respect for others.
