About the position

The Owner's Rep Project Manager at CHA Consulting, Inc. is responsible for managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and project teams, addressing technical, financial, and logistical issues as they arise. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall client relationships and address any technical, financial, or logistical issues that arise.
  • Coordinate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and manage project-related documents.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasts, and cash management.
  • Prepare proposals, project plans, and project closeout documents.
  • Communicate project updates to clients, management, and project teams.
  • Develop and monitor project-specific health and safety plans in coordination with the health and safety manager.
  • Ensure projects meet required QA/QC compliance as per the Quality Management Plan.
  • Attend monthly project review meetings with operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or a related degree is required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience required; a minimum of 5 years of project management experience required.
  • Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents for projects required.
  • Experience managing project accounting processes including budgeting, forecasts, and cash management required.
  • Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other management software; knowledge of Deltek Vision, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
