About the position
The Package Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily package dispatch operations at a UPS center. This part-time role involves analyzing dispatch results, planning routes, and addressing operational service issues to ensure customer satisfaction. The supervisor also provides customer service support and facilitates the execution of operational procedures.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and plan daily package dispatch operations.
- Handle operational service issues such as on-call Air pickups and heavy pick-up accounts.
- Analyze previous dispatch results to maximize service performance.
- Streamline routes for efficiency.
- Coordinate operational needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide customer service support by addressing messages and concerns.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., or an alien authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to analyze dispatch results and operational data.
- Strong customer service skills.
