About the position

The Packager position at Aerotek involves working in a manufacturing environment to set up and operate molding presses for producing rubber and metal parts. The role requires following verbal instructions and process sheets, monitoring equipment, and maintaining a clean work area. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Locate materials and inserts, following proper procedures for taking them.
• Monitor presses for proper time, temperature, and pressures.
• Complete time sheets, SPC Charts, and process sheets accurately.
• Notify trainer or immediate supervisor of any perceived problems or faulty equipment.
• Use pry bars, measuring gauges, and basic hand tools; lift up to approximately 40 pounds.
• Carry molded parts to designated staging areas for the next operations.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly manner.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and company regulations.
• Perform other duties as required and/or directed.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Familiarity with working on the production line or packing material.
• Ability to operate and maintain proper running procedures from verbal instructions and process sheets.
• Ability to read and understand English.
