About the position
Westside Finishes is seeking a crew of two or two individual experienced house painters to join our team in Gig Harbor, WA. This position offers flexibility with part-time, full-time, or weekend work available. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in residential painting, with a focus on both interior and exterior projects. The role involves a variety of tasks, including exterior painting, interior painting, and cabinet painting, all requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing surfaces, masking, and applying paint to various structures, ensuring a professional finish that meets our high standards. This is a temporary position with a pay rate starting at $30 per hour, which may be negotiable based on experience. Candidates will be expected to work between 20 to 40 hours per week, with shifts available in both 4-hour and 8-hour formats, primarily during the day from Monday to Friday. Responsibilities
- Prep, mask, and paint exterior surfaces including siding, trim, and decks.
- Prep, mask, and paint walls, ceilings, and trim with a keen eye for detail.
- Prep and spray cabinets, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.
- Clean, sand, and prime surfaces as needed.
