This paid 10-week program, running from May to July, is designed to immerse interns in the operations of Arizona Public Service (APS), the state's largest energy provider. Interns will engage in meaningful individual and group projects, supported by dedicated managers and mentors who will guide them throughout their internship. The program has been recognized as a Top 100 Internship Program in 2020 and 2021, highlighting its commitment to providing valuable learning experiences. During the internship, participants will have the chance to work on challenging assignments that apply their business education to short-term projects. They will also have opportunities to meet with senior leadership, gaining insights into their experiences and the energy industry as a whole. Interns will receive in-depth education about APS, the energy sector, and the various engineering career tracks available within utility organizations. The program emphasizes professional and personal development, offering ongoing feedback and coaching on performance, as well as networking events with peers and management. Interns will present their summer project results to the Engineering Senior Leadership Team, allowing them to showcase their achievements and receive constructive feedback. The internship also includes housing for qualified students, ensuring that they can fully focus on their learning and contributions during the program.
