Parking Operations Specialist

About the position

The Parking Operations Specialist position at Northern Virginia Community College involves performing routine administrative, operational, financial, and customer-support services related to campus parking, transportation, and NOVACard operations. The role is part-time, with a maximum average of 29 hours per week, and is based out of the Sterling, Loudoun NOVA Campus location. The working hours are Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform front office duties including permit sales, citation payments, NOVACard issuance, cash drawer reconciliation, and general customer support.
• Manage Print Services, refill paper, toner, and staples as needed, and troubleshoot paper jams.
• Monitor SmarterTrack for tickets and address as necessary, escalating tickets to Tier 2 as needed.
• Perform parking enforcement duties including checking parking areas for infractions, issuing citations, and maintaining parking equipment and hardware.
• Operate a state enforcement vehicle while performing duties.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Computer experience working in a Windows environment.
• Valid Driver's License.
