About the position
Honda Manufacturing of Indiana is seeking part-time assemblers to join their team at the state-of-the-art facility located in Greensburg, IN. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible work hours while contributing to the assembly of vehicles. The facility has been operational since 2008 and is known for its efficiency and minimal environmental impact. As an assembler, you will be responsible for various tasks including installing visors, wiring, flooring, door panels, seats, and mirrors. Additionally, you will be involved in sanding and applying chemicals prior to painting, as well as setting up parts and welding machines. This role offers a temp-to-hire opportunity, allowing you to transition into a permanent position after demonstrating your skills and reliability. The part-time assembler position requires working every Monday and Friday, with a total of 16 hours per week. There are two shifts available: the first shift runs from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and the second shift from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM. The pay ranges from $21.30 to $22.40 per hour, depending on the shift. Candidates must complete a one-week training period on the first shift before moving to their part-time schedule. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Must train one week on 1st shift Monday - Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM before moving to part-time schedule.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and pull for 8-hour shifts.
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- Must pass Honda physical prior to placement.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
