About the position

Join our team at U-Haul as a Reservation Manager Agent! U-Haul offers a wide range of personal and professional growth within its organization. Under the direction of the Traffic Control Manager, your primary focus will be supporting customers, field team members, and U-Haul dealerships through reservation placement and distribution of equipment. As a Reservation Manager Agent, you will assist with calls from and to customers, helping to support field team members and U-Haul dealerships with equipment and reservation management and placement. You will direct incoming customers' equipment to areas based on customer demand and productivity status to help balance regional market inventory levels to meet future demand. Additionally, you will review reports that aid in effective placement of equipment, customer reservations, and contracts that support creating equipment availability and accuracy. You will also assist with the Company's U-Box portable storage product, ensuring that all customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with calls from and to customers.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of office equipment such as multiline phones, phone etiquette, Word, and email.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Availability for part-time work, including weekends and holidays.
  • Able to work in person.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a call center environment for at least 1 year.
  • Customer service experience for at least 1 year.
  • Phone etiquette experience for at least 1 year.
