About the position

We are seeking an experienced and versatile individual to join our team as a Part-Time Digital Content Manager. This role is part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive skill set across all listed areas and be proficient in the necessary programs and tools. The Digital Content Manager will be responsible for managing and developing our website, creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and capturing high-quality photography for our digital presence. In the area of website management and development, the candidate will plan, create, implement, manage, monitor, and update websites. This includes ensuring website functionality, performing regular software updates, troubleshooting technical issues, and improving the website user experience (UX). The candidate will utilize Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress) and web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to achieve these goals. Content creation is another key responsibility, where the candidate will write and edit engaging content for websites, blogs, and marketing materials. They will create new pages and features to enhance user engagement and support organizational goals, while also maintaining and updating existing content to ensure accuracy and relevance. Social media management will involve developing and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. The candidate will create and schedule posts across various platforms and monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance. Additionally, the role includes photography responsibilities, where the candidate will capture high-quality images for use across digital platforms and edit photographs to align with brand aesthetics.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in website management and development, content creation, social media, and photography.

  • Experience with SEO and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
