About the position

As a Leasing Agent at ASAP Personnel, you will play a crucial role in our team, focusing on providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include showcasing our properties to prospective tenants, facilitating the leasing process, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for real estate. This position requires a proactive approach to engaging with potential tenants and a commitment to maintaining the quality and appeal of our properties. In this role, you will conduct property tours, effectively communicating the features and benefits of our available units. You will also be responsible for recording and updating details of prospective tenants in our computer database, assisting in the preparation of market-ready units, and processing lease applications. Your ability to advertise available properties through various channels and marketing initiatives will be essential in attracting potential tenants. Additionally, you will screen prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements and collect security deposits and applicable fees. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date availability reports is critical, as is orienting new tenants to the property to ensure a smooth move-in process. You will address and resolve tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner, collaborating with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals. Staying informed about market conditions and competitors will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to provide valuable insights to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Process lease applications, follow up with applicants, and inform them of application results.

  • Screen prospective tenants to ensure eligibility requirements are met.
  • Collect and record security deposits and applicable fees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date availability reports.
  • Orient new tenants to the property, ensuring a smooth move-in process.
  • Address and resolve tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to achieve occupancy goals.
  • Stay informed about market conditions and competitors.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service-related role.
  • Knowledge of general property management and leasing practices.
  • Familiarity with leasing software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
