Part-Time Nanny / Babysitter - Plano

About the position

Lone Star Nannies is seeking reliable and caring part-time Babysitters and Nannies to provide attentive childcare for children in the Plano, TX area. The ideal candidates will have experience in infant care, nannying, and/or preschool settings, and will engage children in age-appropriate activities while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage intellectual development
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of children's play areas
• Follow parents' guidelines for child behavior and discipline
• Transport children to and from activities as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children, such as in daycare, preschool, teaching, or previous nanny roles
• Knowledge of first aid procedures for children
• Ability to multitask and prioritize children's needs effectively
• Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents
• Willingness to undergo a background check
• Ability to stay off your phone and actively engage with children
