This position is essential in providing an exceptional shopping experience, where our team members help customers find products that reflect their individuality, team pride, and personal style. In this role, you will be responsible for generating revenue through outstanding customer service and achieving company goals in individual performance metrics. You will engage in store maintenance, ensuring that our visual presentation aligns with current guidelines, which includes proper signage and cleanliness. Maintaining a professional appearance in accordance with our dress code is also crucial. Additionally, you will play a key role in controlling costs by protecting the company's assets and participating in inventory management. This includes processing shipments and returns, assisting in accurate product counts, and adhering to all Lids retail policies and procedures. Your contributions will help foster a positive environment that encourages both customer satisfaction and team success.

Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through exceptional customer service.
  • Achieve revenue growth by meeting or exceeding company goals in individual statistics.
  • Engage in store maintenance according to current visual guidelines, including proper sales signage and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.
  • Protect the company's assets within the guidelines of Lids retail.
  • Participate in store inventory management, including processing shipments and returns.
  • Assist in the correct and timely counting of products.
  • Support and follow all Lids retail policies, procedures, and principles.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to read and operate a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing required for up to 100% of the time.
