About the position

The Part Time Sales Outfitter for Hunting is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support for hunting and archery merchandise (non-firearms). This role involves engaging with customers, assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions, and maintaining the sales floor to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-firearms).
• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Identify and evaluate customers' needs to make product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick up.
• Demonstrate products to customers effectively.
• Organize and maintain merchandise within the retail store for sales at the Gun Counter (non-firearms).
• Replenish products on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience in retail preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of customer service and sales of hunting/archery merchandise (non-firearms).
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.
