Part-Time Technical Writer

About the position

Seeking a local Part-Time ADA Technical Writer to remotely support our Rail Transportation client in California, Arizona, or Texas. The Contractor will support the technical writing of the Early Train Project (ETO). Responsible for technical writing, editing, and supporting technical documents, including compliance and ensuring the documents are accessible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Note: This position is part-time/on-call for up to 20-30 hours a month.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical writing of the Early Train Project (ETO)
• Write and edit technical documents
• Ensure documents comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Maintain accessibility standards in documentation

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical writing experience
• Technical writing experience in public works projects
• Experience with ADA compliance in technical writing
• Keen attention to detail
• Bachelor's Degree
