About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of the operations of a parts room.
• At least 20 years old.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with little or no supervision.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated individual with safe work habits.

Nice To Haves

• Current Industrial Maintenance associate degree.
• 3 years of prior experience in an industrial parts room environment or inventory-related experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and statistical data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ordering parts and maintenance materials in emergencies or as needed.
• Receiving items and parts into the parts room.
• Releasing and issuing items, parts, and tools from the parts room.
• Maintaining the items and parts inventory in the parts room.
• Performing administrative tasks related to parts room inventory management.
• Other duties as assigned.
