About the position
The Patient Care Liaison plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality and efficient care for patients by managing scheduling requests and providing exceptional customer service. This position involves interacting with patients, customers, and stakeholders to facilitate appointment scheduling and support the overall mission of HCA Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound, outbound, and electronic requests to assist in scheduling patient appointments and services.
- Perform all components of call processing for inbound and outbound contacts while documenting those calls in the system.
- Ensure performance and quality standards are met.
- Schedule patient appointments for follow-up.
- Demonstrate kindness, compassion, and approachability in all interactions.
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers and patients.
- Support the vision and strategy of the contact center while promoting services and elevating issues to leadership.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Entry-level knowledge in customer service and scheduling appointments.
- One year of customer service experience preferred.
- One year of experience using an internet-based software program.
