U.S. News and World Report named GW Hospital as a High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care (Uncomplicated Pregnancy) in 2024. This designation means that GW Hospital provides a high standard of care for patients with uncomplicated pregnancies. This designation is the highest award a hospital can earn for U.S. News' Best Hospitals for Maternity Care. Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care tasks under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Performs various tasks as competency documentation designates.
• Provides direct patient care limited to non-invasive procedures, unless specifically certified in phlebotomy.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• At least six months of recent Hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience, which provided knowledge of basic patient-care activities related to Multi-skilled technician duties.
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, or two years of nursing school.
• CNA certification preferred.
