About the position
Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is set to open in early 2025 as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in over 20 years. This teaching hospital will integrate clinical care with existing providers, including The George Washington University Hospital and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, establishing a robust system of care for all District residents. The facility will feature 136 beds (expandable to 184), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery services, an ambulatory pavilion, a community space, a 500-car garage, and a helipad for emergency transports. We are seeking a Patient Care Technician - Infusion (Part Time) to work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive safe and effective treatment in a timely manner. Responsibilities include monitoring patients during infusion procedures, assisting with vital signs measurements, preparing and maintaining infusion equipment, and providing comfort and reassurance to patients throughout their treatment.

Requirements
- High School diploma.
- 6 months or more of recent hospital, long-term care, or medical work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of patient assistance and care procedures.
- Patient Care Technician certification required.
- BLS certification required.
