Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant Licensure preferred
• 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• Must be organized, a team player and detail-oriented
• Good computer and math skills
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Perform basic care skills under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse including vital signs, intake/output measurement, catheter care, CPR, restraint management, bowel and bladder training, and documentation of care in the patient record.
• Assist the licensed nurse in meeting the patients' needs in personal hygiene, personal care, skin care, grooming, rest, activity, nourishment, body mechanics, elimination, and psychosocial support.
• Provide adequate, safe care and maintain knowledge about each patient assigned.
• Participate in reports with nursing and other unit techs.
• Pay attention to detail related to patient care restrictions and special instructions or issues.
