About the position
The Patient Financial Representative Senior position at Christus Health is a vital role within the Revenue Cycle Business Services (RCBS) organization. This position serves as a backup for various business office functions, ensuring that operational work units are adequately supported. The responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks including billing, collections, reimbursement validation, cash posting, mail handling, scanning, sorting, assembly, copying, faxing, and data entry. The role is designed to maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial services provided by the organization. In addition to the operational tasks, the Patient Financial Representative Senior is responsible for providing training and support to new and existing Associates. This includes coaching and mentoring on RCBS processes, which is essential for maintaining high standards of service and ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to supporting the overall goals of the RCBS organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that the financial operations run smoothly and that all associates are well-prepared to handle their responsibilities. The Patient Financial Representative Senior will work closely with the manager to identify areas for improvement and to implement best practices within the team.
Responsibilities
- Provides back up coverage and support for various positions within RCBS as assigned by the manager
- Provides coaching and mentoring for associates on transactional processes assigned by the manager
- Performs all other duties assigned.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalency preferred.
