Patient Service Rep-Pre Admission Testing MOC

About the position

The Patient Service Representative performs all required patient registration procedures. Assists in the organization of patient flow within the service area. Ensures that all ordered testing and pre-admission processes are completed as ordered. May perform specific procedures including, but not limited to, phlebotomy and electrocardiograms.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• General knowledge of keyboard and data entry processes.
• Basic terminology relating to computers.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and First Aid training preferred.

• Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
• Ability to type and demonstrate basic computer skills.
