About the position
At P3 Health Partners, we are a physician-led organization dedicated to transforming healthcare from sickness care into wellness guidance. We are looking for a Patient Services Specialist who will be responsible for corresponding with patients, maintaining the organization of our office, and ensuring a welcoming, calm, and quiet environment for our patients and their families. This role involves working at the front desk of our medical office and providing assistance to patients and visitors. Responsibilities
- Correspond with patients and assist them with inquiries.
- Maintain the organization of the office and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Work at the front desk and provide assistance to patients and visitors.
- Handle patient records with confidentiality and care.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- 1+ years' experience in healthcare related field
- Familiarity with Athena or Cerner is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
