They will also manage the Paid Time Off (PTO) program within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), addressing unique scenarios such as jury duty, bereavement, and parental leave. It is essential for the coordinator to maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS and to complete payroll functions from start to finish in a timely manner. Additionally, they will ensure that external payroll derivatives, such as 401k funding and Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions, are properly managed. The coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of all company benefits and serving as the point of contact for day-to-day benefit administration. Building and maintaining positive relationships with insurance brokers, 401k representatives, and fiduciary partners is crucial to ensure that the company remains informed about relevant updates. The role also involves overseeing payroll and benefits-related software, safeguarding sensitive information, and ensuring proper storage of personnel files and payroll documents.
