About The Position

This position is part of a small team responsible for processing multi-state payroll for over 3,000 employees on a weekly and semi-monthly basis. The role involves providing support and direction on routine payroll activities, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, maintaining payroll records, and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Requirements

• Academic background in Finance, Payroll, or Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of US payroll full cycle processing experience.
• Experience with Workday system is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with US wage and tax laws.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team and adapt to change.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll for over 3,000 employees on a weekly and semi-monthly basis.
• Provide support and direction on routine payroll activities in accordance with company policies and best practices.
• Process voluntary and involuntary earnings and deductions, ensuring compliance with state and federal withholding guidelines.
• Maintain payroll records and document procedures.
• Audit timekeeping records and process manual adjustments to employee wage and tax records.
• Review and monitor retro adjustments and audit payroll reports periodically while maintaining confidentiality standards.
• Deliver exceptional service to customers.
