About the position
Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is urgently hiring Personal Care Assistants (PCA) for Westminster Canterbury At Home. Westminster Canterbury At Home offers personalized and exceptional Home Health Care, Home Care, and Hospice services in private home settings in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas. We have immediate openings for PRN-Flexible Scheduling at a rate of $16.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential personal care services to clients on the Westminster-Canterbury campus and in the greater community.
- Assist clients with bathing and grooming.
- Help with daily living activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Accompany clients to appointments.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- PCA Certificate or equivalent healthcare experience.
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Willingness to drive to private homes in the Virginia Beach area.
- One year of supervised nursing assistant experience (preferred).
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
