About the position
The Pediatric Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida will be responsible for providing specialized care in pediatric cardiology, working both in the clinic and rounding in the hospital. This role is essential in delivering vital and lifesaving care to children and their families in the region, contributing to the hospital's mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Provide general pediatric cardiology care in the clinic.
- Round in the hospital for pediatric cardiology patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation for patient documentation.
- Participate in patient education and support for families.
Requirements
- Active State Medical License or the ability to obtain a Florida Medical License.
- Experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in pediatric cardiology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation.
- Previous experience in a pediatric hospital setting.
