About The Position

The Penetration Tester will join the Enterprise Security Operations Center team at Leidos, focusing on identifying and mitigating cyber threats to the Department of Homeland Security's networks. This role involves performing various penetration tests, including cloud, web applications, and physical security assessments, while also contributing to incident response efforts. The position requires a strong background in cybersecurity and a commitment to safeguarding information systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience combined with 8 to 12 years of professional experience; or 6 to 10 years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• At least 6 years of penetration testing experience, including 2 years of cloud penetration testing experience.
• Proficiency in testing Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS infrastructure, with knowledge of other cloud providers.
• Certifications such as SANS GMOB, CISSP, GISF, GPEN, GWAPT, GXPN, OSCE, OSCP, OSEE, OSWP.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of Cyber Kill Chain & Intelligence Defense.
• Ability to brief senior officials on penetration testing requirements and results.

Responsibilities

• Perform cloud penetration tests and act as the cloud penetration testing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team.
• Conduct internal and external penetration tests against systems to identify vulnerabilities and provide mitigation strategies.
• Execute web application penetration tests.
• Perform vulnerability risk assessments.
• Conduct physical penetration tests and social engineering assessments.
• Engage in cyber incident response as needed for programs.
