About the position

Acara Solutions is seeking a PEO Benefits Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. This role is pivotal in providing support to clients, their employees, and internal partners within the Business Process Outsourcing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background and a desire to grow their career in a dynamic environment. As a PEO Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the setup, ongoing processing, maintenance, and support of client accounts, ensuring that all client needs are met with excellence. In this position, you will engage with clients and their employees through various communication channels, including calls, faxes, and emails. You will process benefit enrollments for PEO product offerings, ensuring timely processing and resolution of any issues that arise. Your role will also involve researching and resolving product and service issues, maintaining accurate documentation in our CRM system, and conducting monthly audits to correct any billing inaccuracies. Additionally, you will guide clients and their employees on product offerings, ensuring they are well-informed about how to utilize Health & Benefits online tools for optimal client retention. Compliance is a key aspect of this role, as you will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining benefit documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. You will also interact with Health & Benefit carriers to address customer needs and participate in special projects and training sessions as required. Responsibilities

  • Provides support to clients, their employees, and internal partners.
  • Responsible for setup, ongoing processing, maintenance, and support of client accounts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and field partners via calls, faxes, and emails.
  • Contact current clients/employees via outbound call/email campaigns.
  • Processes benefit enrollments for PEO product offerings for clients to ensure timely processing.
  • Researches and resolves primary product and service issues from the field clients and their employees to maintain accurate and timely responses.
  • Documents information in CRM to track issues.
  • Researches and resolves monthly audits to correct billing inaccuracies.
  • Guide clients and their employees regarding product offerings, including setting up and using Health & Benefits online, to ensure optimal client retention.
  • Obtains and maintains benefit documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and laws.
  • Maintains knowledge of all changes about various product offerings, regulatory changes, policy changes, and industry developments to ensure compliance with departmental processes and company guidelines.
  • Interact with Health & Benefit carriers to resolve customer needs.
  • Participates in special projects and training sessions as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic understanding of HRIS Payroll and Windows.

  • Pay: $20/hr.
