About the position

The People Operations Manager at Digital Asset is a pivotal role responsible for managing the operational demands of the US office while executing strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. This position supports organizational goals, provides guidance to visitors and coworkers, and drives initiatives that improve the overall employee experience. The role involves collaboration with global teams and focuses on creating and improving operational processes to support the company's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact and support for the America region, particularly in the New York City office.
  • Develop and implement standards for operating processes, governance, and reporting, while supporting budgeting and cost management for the Operations function.
  • Seek new partnerships and maintain/expand current partnerships with office services suppliers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with regional operational managers and business functional managers.
  • Create, implement, and enforce company policies and practices consistent with local norms, culture, tradition, and law.
  • Drive employee engagement through various strategies, including surveys, group discussions, and team events.
  • Process new hire onboarding and employee exits in coordination with the HR team.
  • Process employment authorization/visa requirements in coordination with the Legal and HR teams.
  • Perform office administrative duties, including office management, building access, and equipment purchasing, in coordination with the IT/CSO team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience in a project management role balancing strategic projects with repetitive day-to-day tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, prioritizing and handling ad-hoc requests and day-to-day interactions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, partners, and vendors to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and experience in communicating across multiple teams, geographies, and functions.
  • Proven success in leading initiatives from conception to delivery with effective communication and within budget and timelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional judgment and ability to make quick, sound decisions in complex scenarios.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of business ethics, reliability, precision, and integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence internal teams, candidates, and customers.
