PERM - RF Application Engineer

About the position

The RF Application Engineer will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems for scientific use. This role involves investigating complaints to determine the nature and extent of problems, overseeing project production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and conferring with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing and potential engineering projects and products. The engineer will also provide technical/application development support on engineering projects to key customers in RF (Radio Frequency) and EV (Electric Vehicle) SiC applications.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and test manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems for scientific use.
• Investigate complaints to determine the nature and extent of problems.
• Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing and potential engineering projects and products.
• Investigate and test products.
• Provide technical/application development support on engineering projects to key customers in RF and EV SiC applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• 3 years of experience with Product Management or related.
• Proficient in conducting Radio Frequency (RF) verification and validation (V&V) testing under various conditions, including WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, and LTE technologies.
• Experienced in both theoretical and practical application of RF instrumentation to solve issues and ensure device reliability.
• Experienced in HAC T-Coil Measurements utilizing SPEAG DASY4 automated system in the SAR.
• Conducted studies in the 3GPP lab measuring specifications for small loudspeakers.
• Extensive experience in RF network design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with tools and methodologies for analyzing RF signals.
• Proficient in managing and maintaining SmartEdge network systems.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical issues within SmartEdge systems.
• Applied comprehensive knowledge of IP network topology and routing protocols.
• Experience with Juniper or Smart Edge products and solid knowledge of Packet Core Network products.
