About the position
City Charter High School is seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to fill the role of a permanent building substitute. This position is essential to our school community, providing support and continuity in the classroom when regular teachers are unavailable. The successful candidate will work from Tuesday to Friday each week, with hours from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, ensuring that students receive consistent instruction and support throughout the school week. The role requires adaptability, as the substitute will be expected to cover various content areas and engage with high school-aged students across different subjects. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive daily rate of $175.00. Candidates must possess a valid Pennsylvania public educator certificate or a professional-level out-of-state educator certificate to be eligible for this role. For those who do not hold the necessary certification but have a bachelor's degree, City Charter High School is willing to apply for an emergency permit for a substitute position. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, including a bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent, and must also pass background clearances. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident alien status is required for this position. Responsibilities
