About the position
Insight Global is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Med Surg to join our team in Gainesville, Georgia. Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patient health status and vital signs.
- Developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment plans.
- Documenting patient care and progress in medical records.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Experience in Med Surg nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and nights.
Nice-to-haves
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems.
