About the position

As a Personal Banker at PNC, you will play a crucial role in strengthening customer relationships through a defined sales process. This position focuses on engaging customers in sales conversations to identify appropriate financial solutions, ultimately enhancing customer loyalty and driving new revenue. You will work within PNC's Retail Branch Banking Network, specifically at the Harlingen Medical Center branch in Texas, and will be expected to foster an inclusive workplace culture while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer share of wallet.
  • Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions, including outbound calling and effective lobby engagement.
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
  • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
  • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
  • Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment.
  • Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience in banking or customer service.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance customer experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in retail lending and selling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand customer needs.
